Another major global trader uses edoxOnline eBL underpinned by blockchain technology.

A Louis Dreyfus Company barge shipment in the Paraguay-Parana waterway was successfully executed using edoxOnline eBL.

Every year, around 75 million tons of cargo reach the Atlantic Ocean through the Paraguay-Parana Waterway, from which more than 20 million are barged from as far north as the Brazilian Mato Grosso. Soybeans/meal, oils, cereals, fertilizers and iron-ore are among the most important cargos transported. The barge system accounts for more than 200 terminals from Santa Fe province in Argentina up to Caceres port in Brazil and operates 24 hours a day / 365 day a year.

edoxOnline eBL module allows the issuance, handling and management of electronic Bills of Lading, enabling a secure and convenient trade while saving considerable amounts of funds.
